A Letter from our Pastor
I was born in Kentucky in 1972. I became a Christian at the age of 16 while attending First Baptist Church of Alexandria, KY. Shortly after trusting Christ as my Savior, He called me to preach the gospel. Michigan has been my home now since 1994. Before coming to Michigan, I served in full time evangelism for 1½ years. During this time I met my wife Leslie. This past December we celebrated 8 years of marriage. Shortly after we were married the Lord led us to Westview Baptist Church where we served as Pastor for 7 ½ years. In December of 2002 I accepted the Pastoral position here at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. We are excited to serve in this ministry and are looking forward to what Christ has in store for the future. The Lord has blessed us with wonderful people, here at Emmanuel Baptist Church, who have a common goal to tell as many people as possible about Jesus Christ and the new life |
that they have experienced through knowing Him.
