Pastor Rob Smith and his wife Stephanie have been at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church since May, 2004 serving as the Associate Pastor. Bro. Smith's primary focus has been growing our teen and youth departments and developing our future at EMBC. We have seen amazing growth in our teen group since Bro. Smith joined the staff and have seen many souls saved because of his dedication to young people. Bro. Smith also leads our Word of Life children's program on Wednesday night which focuses on helping young people build good habits of daily quiet time with the Lord, devotions, skits and fun games and acdtivities. God has richly blessed our church through this youth ministry and has added many children and teenagers to our membership through his leadership.
Bro. Smith is a great support to Pastor Herald with visitation, the bus ministry, and organizing and hosting an ever growing youth conference in April of every year for local and regional teen groups.
Bro. Smith was previously the pastor of a church in Kentucky where he saw God save many souls and bless that church with growth also. His desire is to see God continue to save souls and for Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church to "impact the world" for the cause of Christ.
